2010 VBD Charity Golf Day
The VBD Charity Golf Day has been successfully raising funds for charity for the past six years, with a total of more than $60,000 raised for local charity to date. This year, VBD requests your support to make 2010 our most successful year yet.Raising much needed funds for The Fred Hollows Foundation and The Rotary Club of Newcastle Sunrise, the 2010 VBD Charity Golf Day will take place on Friday 28 May 2010 at Merewether Golf Club.
We invite you to take part in what is increasingly deemed as one of the best charity golf days in our region, as either a sponsor or a player, or simply by donating a prize or cash.
Promotional opportunities for sponsors
In return for your sponsorship, there will be a variety of promotional opportunities for your business on the day. These include:- A 'goodies bag' for each player (we expect at least 100 players), which we invite you to contribute advertising materials or printed marketing collateral.
- A hole for the day - the hole that your sponsor is yours for the day. You can put banners up, have demonstrations of your product/s, etc. Think outside the square!!
- A fantastic opportunitiy to network before and after golf in the clubhouse. If you have any appropriate signage please feel free to bring it for display in the clubhouse.
- Acknowledgement of your sponsorship in all communications including marketing, PR, etc.
- Four Playing positions in the field
- Breakfast and a late lunch for you and your team
- Four tickets in the raffle (thousands of dollars worth of prizes)
Holes sponsorships are quickly being secured so we encourage you to register early to avoid missing out. The better sponsorship holes are allocated in order of registration.
